Description
The Grapette Company of Camden, AK started selling their flagship soda in 1940 with the small 6oz bottle seen here. In the 1950s, it was the most popular grape-flavored soft drink (though it was only imitation grape flavor, as noted on the label...). It is now sold exclusively in Walmart.
The bottling plant would be labeled on the back but unfortunately, the paint is gone. There is some residue but it is hard to read.
There does not appear to be residue of a logo on the neck (characteristic of bottles from 1945-) so it probably dates before then.
Mark on the bottom: 1844
