Coca-Cola

Title

Coca-Cola

Subject

Soft Drinks
Foodways

Description

Likely from Chattanooga. Likely dates after 1907 as that may be when the Chattanooga Glass Co. began producing colorless glass (Porter 58). Likely dates before 1914 because that is when colorless glass was largely replaces with aqua glass (58). It is difficult to see in the picture but the bottle has the "Diamond C" makers mark which was used from the Chattanooga Glass Co. from its inception in 1901 (Lockhart 230).
Chattanooga Glass Co. was in what is now Alton Park (Summers).
