TRADE (slight upward slant; just above “V”) VASELINE (slight arch) MARK (slight downward slant; just above” E”) / CHESEBROUGH (horizontal) / NEW - YORK (slight inverted arch)
Bottom: "25"

Vaseline has been trademarked since 1878, but this specific type of jar was manufactured between c. 1918-1938 according to Bill Lockhart's 2015 paper for the Society of Historical Archeology.
The jar originally had a paper label on one side, embossed lettering on the other, and a printed lid. (9th image from Ebay)
