Front embossing: “AMERICAN // GINGER ALE // &amp; // CARBONATING CO. // ATLANTA GA” Around base: “THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD _ I.G. Co:511”&#13;

This bottle was made by the Illinois Glass Company with mold no. 511, which can be found in a 1906 catalog with close resemblance.  The American Ginger Ale &amp; Carbonating Co. was located at 96 S Forsyth in Atlanta according to a 1904 city directory.  This is the only directory that has it listed, so the company was presumably short-lived.</text>
